Terms of Service | URoasted

1. Acceptance

By using URoasted (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use URoasted. If you are between 13 and 18, you should use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Acceptable Content

URoasted is for playful, lighthearted roasts among friends. You may not use it to post or share:

Hate speech, slurs, or content targeting groups based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
Sexual content of any kind, especially involving minors.
Threats of violence or content promoting self-harm or suicide.
Personal information of others (real names full enough to identify them outside your friend group, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) without their consent.
Defamation, harassment campaigns, or doxxing.
Spam, scams, or unauthorized commercial promotion.
Content that violates any applicable law.

URoasted is a roast platform - playful insults aimed at one specific person you know are fine. Targeted harassment of strangers, public figures, or groups is not.

4. Content Moderation

We use automated moderation (OpenAI Moderation API) to flag content that violates our rules. Roasts flagged as harmful will not be saved. We also reserve the right to remove any content at any time, with or without notice.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the roasts you create. By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share them through the Service.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you see content that violates these Terms or that you believe is harmful, use the “Report” button on the roast page or email contact@uroasted.com. We review reports promptly.

7. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, URoasted and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or remove access to the Service at any time, particularly if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pakistan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
